# ai6labs brand assets

Every brand material, where it lives, and its status. Version 1.1, 28 October 2026.

- **Source of truth:** the `ai6labs/ai6labs-website` repository. A file at `public/<path>` is published at
  `https://www.ai6labs.com/<path>`.
- **Distribution copy:** `https://www.ai6labs.com/brand/ai6labs-brand-kit.zip`, generated from the repository on every
  build by `src/lib/brand-kit.ts`. Never edit the ZIP; change the source and rebuild (`pnpm build`).
- **Columns:** Kit = inside the ZIP (folder shown); Page = shown on `/brand`; Canva = in Canva Uploads.
- **Canva:** six files were uploaded through the Canva connector and checked there on 28 October 2026 ("verified").
  They are the first export: the same artwork as the current PNGs, without the small edge margin added later. Nothing
  else is in Canva; a Canva Brand Kit is still to be set up by hand (`README.md`).
- **Status:** approved · removed. Ron approved the last open items (page text, footer label, privacy sentence,
  name rule, template look) on 29 October 2026.

## Still missing

- Larger originals of the photos and team portraits (the repository has 720–1600 px web copies). Needs the source
  files.
- Source and licence records for the photographs. Needed before giving images to press.
- A Canva Brand Kit with colours and fonts: set up by hand in Canva (steps in `README.md`).

## Removed

All removals are in git history.

- **Unused photos (approved):** 10 photos, 14 files (10 JPG and 4 WebP copies). The audit said "11 unused images",
  but the list it was based on had 10 names; the 11 was a counting error. The files removed from
  `public/assets/` are: `hero-mudra-robotic-hand.jpg`, `hero-team.jpg`, `share-card.jpg`, `team-builders.jpg`,
  `team-conversation.jpg`, `team-conversation.webp`, `team-inclusive.jpg`, `team-pair-screens.jpg`,
  `team-pair-screens.webp`, `team-studio-group.jpg`, `team-studio-group.webp`, `team-table.jpg`,
  `team-tablet-review.jpg`, `team-tablet-review.webp`.
- **Unused video (approved):** `public/assets/motion/books-loop.mp4`, `books-loop.webm`, `books-loop-poster.webp`.
- **Duplicate footer icons (approved):** the round LinkedIn, GitHub and email buttons that repeated the Connect column.
- **Replaced by the new logo and icons:** `public/assets/ai6labs-logo-color.png`, `ai6labs-logo-white.png`, and
  `public/assets/icons/` (`apple-touch-icon.png`, `favicon.ico`, `icon-180.png`, `icon-192.png`, `icon-32.png`,
  `icon-512.png`, all with the cut "6").
- **Replaced by Poppins:** `public/assets/fonts/geist-latin.woff2`, `manrope-latin.woff2`, `manrope-OFL.txt`.

## Intentional duplicates

- `apple-touch-icon.png` at the site root (where iOS looks) and in `brand/icons/` (for the kit).
- `DESIGN.md` at the repo root (source) and `public/brand/DESIGN.md` (generated copy).
